Global Solidarity, Local Action

Motivated by our Ignatian values, we support the works and initiatives of the Society of Jesus (the Jesuits) which are responding to the challenges faced by communities in Latin America, Africa, and Asia. With nearly 500 years of experience offering quality education to those on the margins, the Jesuits are already promoting innovative, inclusive education models that ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.

With support from generous individuals and organizations in the United States, we are working to remove barriers, strengthen teacher training, and create pathways to autonomy and employment for children and youth with disabilities, helping them gain the skills and confidence to fully participate in society.

Across Latin America and the Caribbean, children and youth with disabilities continue to face significant barriers to education. We know that our shared Ignatian values call us to care for all students, especially those who are so often pushed aside. Students with disabilities have a right to quality education just like every other student and, along with our partners, we are committed to ensuring their rights are upheld.

By improving teacher formation, making schools more accessible, strengthening vocational trainings, and raising awareness about the impact of inclusive education, we are making a difference for individuals and communities. To achieve all of this, we need your support.
