A Goal for Education

Inspired by the unifying power of soccer, the #UnGolPorLaEducación campaign brings people together to advocate for quality education on the margins.

As the strategic partner of Fe y Alegría in the United States, American Jesuits International is proud to support the launch of #UnGolPorLaEducación (A Goal for Education), a global campaign that draws inspiration from the world’s most popular sport to champion one of the world’s most powerful forces for change: education.

Soccer has a unique ability to bring people together across borders, cultures, and generations. It reminds us that success is built through teamwork, shared commitment, and a belief that something greater is possible. Those same values are at the heart of Fe y Alegría’s educational mission. Every day, teachers, families, students, and communities work together to create opportunities for children and young people who deserve access to quality education and the chance to build a better future.

Whether you are supporting Argentina, getting on the field for Colombia, or showing your support for DR Congo, every goal is a point for education. Every contribution helps strengthen schools, empower students, and create opportunities that last far beyond the final whistle.

Because a goal is celebrated for a moment, but education can change a life. This is the game that really matters.

Fe y Alegría International is calling on all of us to score a goal for education.

There is one thing soccer does in every country:

IT BRINGS US TOGETHER.

It makes us believe.

It makes us feel like we’re playing for something bigger.

It reminds us that no one wins alone.

And that’s exactly what Fe y Alegría does.

Because education isn’t possible alone.

It grows out of a community.

With teachers, families, students.. Everyone who believes that a brighter future is possible.

Every student is an opportunity.

Every classroom is a team.

Every community that is committed to education is driving positive change.

Today, we are inspired by soccer to come together and get in the game that truly transforms lives:

EDUCATION.

Because a goal is celebrated for a moment, but education can change a life.

This is the game that really matters.

Put your faith in it.

Put your joy in it.

Because when education wins, we all win.

Score a goal for education.
